I am left handed, and I love it. It gives a child a chance to be special. Don't try and change them. Learning things may have taken a little longer because my parents were both right handed, but I still love it. I would be excited to have a left handed child. It makes them special. 3 heinrich05

Are you serious?!What's the deal with considering forcing a child to use a different hand when they are more comfortable using the other? What difference does it make? 4 Jazzy

Hi, I'm left hand and when I was at grammer school, was forced to write with my right hand. My parents had to get me special help as apart from being a natural left hander I also did mirror writting. Some famous people Leonardo DaVinci {did mirror writting}, Tom Cruise, Prince William, ................ Do a google search for famous left handed people and you will be suprised by the result. Today schools are better about allowing children to write with either hand and more able to assist children. But I would check with the future school your child is going too. To make sure about their policies. Because when your left handed the world has things like scissors for example design for right handed people. I know some smart person created a left handed shop *S*. Research has shown Left handed people to be very creative. Kind regards Kelly Newman http://www.ozshowdogs.com/ 5 Oz Show Dogs
