Sister in law having twins need names. |
| Any one have some good suggestions for names for twins? Should they be cute and match or keep them different? Let me know what you come up with.

| I think they should be cute and match like Rose and Mary. Or start with the same letter like Amber and Ashley. Does she know if they are girls or boys?

| As a twin girl and my better half is a brother, I have to say I like having a name that doesn't rhyme or match. Twins have a hard enough time being a separate person with people constantly comparing the two, they don't need matching names to add to the pot. Yes, it's cute to have matching names, but just remember, each child should be viewed as a separate person. If two kids were born on the same day, but different year, would you match their names?

| No matching names! That is so old. Choose names you like but maybe the same middle name maybe. For instance you can use your maiden name for both their middle names if they are both girls.

| I think that The names Can match or start with the same letter. I like the names - Caden, Aiden/Aidan, Jaden/ Jayden, Jordan. I was pregnant with twins, But only ended up with one I named him Jason. His twin would of been Jaden or Jeremy. After all it is american tradition to give matching names.

| I have twin sons and their names are Emerton Reid and Kohen Matthew. My brothers are twins and told me not to go for names that were too similar. They are 2 very different little men and I am happy I didn;t make them similar!

| This has nothing to do with twin names but with the name Kohen. I told my husband a couple of months ago that I wanted to name our son Kohen and he likes it. Most of the family does. Some don't like it at all. What kind of response did you get?

| How about Jayce and Jax. Joshua and James. Byrt and Brennan. Orin and Eric. Sometimes the parents need to see their babies before a name pops out! My brother called his son Jordan, because when his wifes water broke he said it ran down her legs like a river.... hence we have a wonderful man now named for the river. have fun choosing though.

| I love the names Shaelynn & Shelace for girls. and Caden & Cameron for boys. I also like Nikonna & Nikell and Nathan and Nolan. I'm not so much into names rhyming but I like names that match and start with the same letter.

| I think rhyming names is too much but names with similar first letter or ending is neat. Such as..if its girl/boy twins then Savanha & Stephen or if two boys then Logan & Nolan or if two girls then Jullianna & Gillian. The choices are infinite...how fun to have twins! Congratulations to your sister-in-law!

| If you're going for matching but not to the point of being teased or mocked, you might go with the same type of name.... Daisy and Rose, Angel and Heaven-Leigh, Chase and Sprint, Jose and Pablo, Richard and Rebekah, Micheal and Michele. You could even go with Biblical names like the fruit of the Spirit(Love, Joy, Peace, Patiance, ext.) or Abram, Isaac, Jacob, Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, Solomen, Saul, Job, Esther, Ruth, Naomi, Delilah, Bathsheba, Mary, Hannah, Sarai, Sarah, Jezebel, Keturah, Eve, Miriam.

| Eileen -
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you havent been on here for a while.
I love the name Kohen. My mother hated it but it has grown on her! I think people dont like it because it is different. Once people get used to it I think they will learn to like it!!
