Infertility treatment
Hi all! For those of you who have done IVF did you have any after affects? Irregular periods, migraines, excessive weight gain? I appreciate your responses :) 1 sikshya

Hey dear. Oh boy, infertility treatment is really scary. There are so many things you have to worry about; the problems to your body, the psychological toll that it takes and what people are gonna say. But as a woman, who is childless, I'd say don't be afraid. People will say a ton of about you. That's a fact of life. A real woman will move past that and persist for what she believes in. I am past 40 years of age. Yet I still don't give up hope. When the doctor told me I was infertile, I was shocked. Because my condition was rare. It had something to do with my uterus being an inhospitable environment for sperms. I still pray and visit plenty of doctors. Just to see if my condition has a cure or not. But it does take a lot of patience and stamina. Don't let the disappointment get to you. 2 Selina Dylan

Hello there, after effects can be expected with any medication. Consult your doctor if they persist. Or if they become too much to bear. Your body is undergoing major changes during IVF. It is normal for it to show some effects. Good luck! 3 Kato

Hey Sikshya. Different people have different reactions. I personally had no side effects. A friend of mine though used to complain of weight gain. Discuss your experience with the doctor. Hope this helps. Good luck! 4 Lambert

Hey there. Have you started IVF? If yes, are you experiencing any of these side effects? If you are then you should consult your doctor about them. Side effects are possible, but are quite rare. My own experience with IVF was free of any such side effects. However, it is still possible. 5 McCarty

Hi there. I tried IVF two times. I had no side effects but I didn't get pregnant. As my doctor explained, I'm just unable to get pregnant. That's why I had to choose the surrogacy. Girls above are absolutely right. Everything is so individual. Someone could have no side effect, others could have a lot of troubles. I think you should discuss this problem with your gyno. He knows your body much better. Of course, you should be ready to have any side effect. But I'm sure everything will be fine. Stay positive and you will become parents soon. Just don't give up. Good luck. 6 AmandaRoar

Yes, that is normal and considered the common side-effects of IVF treatment. My sister used to had headaches, mood swings, cramps, and hot flashes etc. We always thought that they did something wrong to her and that she might end up getting a disease. Thanks to God that did not happen. Doctors assured us that it's normal and that in just a few days' time she will be not feel anything unusual in her body. They were right. 7 jawemoty

Infertility treatment is truly frightening. There are such huge numbers of things you need to stress over; the issues to your body, the mental toll that it takes and what individuals are going to state. Be that as it may, as a lady, who is childless, I'd say don't be anxious. Individuals will say a huge amount of in regards to you. That is an unavoidable truth. A genuine lady will move past that and continue for what she has confidence in. I am recent years old. However, regardless I don't surrender trust. At the point when the specialist revealed to me, I was barren, I was stunned. Since my condition was uncommon. It had a comment about my uterus being an ungracious situation for sperms. Despite everything I implore and visit a lot of specialists. Just to check whether my condition has a cure or not. In any case, it takes a great deal of tolerance and stamina. Try not to give the mistake a chance to get to you. 8 Ammanda Cox

There are after effects. This depends with how fast your body can come back to normality. Others take a few period before they come back normal. Others they can take long. I know of a friend who went for a year with no periods. It is not like she was pregnant all that period. Her body was adjusting. Remember there was some medication while on the procedure. Although the side effects are not that much. But if you feel they are giving you much displeasure you can see a doctor. Bio tex serves one of the best clinics when concerning IVF. I am sure they can find a solution to whatever problem that you are undergoing. Unless otherwise just note the symptoms are normal. Like weight gain. This even happens to natural birth. So you really need not to be that much worried. You can control that via your diet. And you should also take regular exercises. 9 callisy
