When I was 33, I had just come out of a relationship and started becoming concerned that I was no longer in a position to have children. I have always wanted children, so I wanted to know what my options were. I did some research, came across clinic and decided to go along to one of Biotex.com open days to find out more information. I decided to go ahead with freezing my eggs and due to my low ovarian reserve I went for a 3 cycle treatment to make sure enough eggs are collected for future use. It is an emotionally difficult process and itís really important to accept that, but after my first cycle, I immediately felt better and happy with my decision. I have now completed two cycles and have one more left to do. If you are considering egg freezing or are already in the process, I would encourage you to keep calm and know it is okay to be emotional. It isnít an easy process and it is okay to take some time out, once itís done, to recover. I satisfied with my clinic and hope to become a mom one day with their help too. 2 Victoria112

I am so sorry for the pain you are passing through. I understand how painful it is not to conceive when other and older women do so. I need to ask if you have considered donor egg. Infertility is correlated with increased rates of depression and anxiety. Our reaction is normal. What we need is support, not invalidation. It is not a womanís-centric issue; your male friends are most likely grieving silently. 8 Samantha Marks

Hello Jennifer a brand new user here too. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this... Honestly if i could do anything to change it I would. TO only think that people deal with such stuff is heartbreaking. But life is like this. Basically there is nothing one can do to change what has already hit you. However this doesn't mean that you should give up. Oh no, not at all. I think the main thing you should do is win the psychological battle. Try to remain positive no matter what. I know it's hard but you have to fight hard. Getting diagnosed with infertility doesn't mean that you'll never be a mother. It just means there will be some extra steps! There is IVF, surrogacy many other things. Think about these before giving up. I wish you all the best. May you accomplish your dream. Much love xx 10 toddlerlover

Hello Jenifer, I can feel your pain. I was also diagnosed with poor egg quality to the extent that I would probably not be able to conceive naturally. For people like us, there are advanced options like IVF and maybe surrogacy as well. But then it's up to you what you'd like to do. And you're probably aware that these treatments don't come cheap. So having a good financial backing is very important. Another thing that I've come across while researching is that you'll need to complete at least 4 IVF cycles for one to be positive. The success rates are about 33% to 40%. Wish you all the best and loads of baby dust... 11 deborahgreen

I am a 31-year-old woman from Las Vegas. I consulted with a doctor about my infrequent periods. I got married 3 years and finding out a way to get pregnant. A problem occurs because eggs don't mature in the ovaries. I have been facing this issues from the year. It really sucks! I talk with many doctors about it but I am getting the same results. Even I searched a lot in the google and get some ideas about it. I tried a lot of trying to solve by my own but it's not working. In my last appointment with a doctor, he asked me for the test and I am waiting for the test results. I am afraid of the results. I have no idea what should I do? I am not sure what I am looking for. May be some love or advice that help me to maintain my emotions. It's really bad. 12 Sarabrown

I think it's hard to believe that I am going through the Infertility issue. I am going through the forum to forum to figure out the process of vitro fertilization but I am still not able to get it. I feeling like I did a mistake to focus on my career. After some point of time, it's difficult to marry. It's been a long time I started my treatment but I am feeling like it's not easy to focus on it. My question is about stimulation. Has anyone face issue with donor eggs? It seems my lining is too thin. I have been facing a lot of issues and I am really confused. I am feeling anxiety and panic attacks to get rid of everything. 13 sofiawest
