egg donation in distant but hospitable Ukraine
Suddenly I decided to share my impressions. They are calmer than they were one week ago. But anyway I want you to know! We had a joy to visit Ukraine. The last 5 years my husband and I have been trying hard to conceive getting no results. also we had an IFV experience in other clinics of Spain and in Czech Republic. That must be our second attempt with donor eggs. Fortunately, we know Ukraine has and gives a very good opportunity for selection. With whole our hope in our success weíre waiting only for the best outcome. In our case the best result is a healthy baby or two, or even three, we guess weíll cope with all troubles related to future posterity. Because itís our mad crave, our desire of life, our mad love. I think Iíll be able to say more only after some questions. Through my post I guess you may discover my attitude to the clinic weíve chosen. I'm hoping you are alright having only good news. i really wish so. 1 toytoo

I see youíre the newbie here and the next one who has chosen Ukraine to build your family! As far I understood you were satisfied with your initial consultation, when was it? how was it? You are the person with a specific experience in this field. so you know whatís better for you. didnít the tries in Spain and CR give a result? You are welcome Dear! 2 toytoo

After I created my post on the other forum more than week ago. Iíve received this message (above) on yesterday from someone nicknamed Sally. She invited me to post my story on this forum. Sally gave me the link to the babynames. But I canít find her posts and traces of activity here. Itís a bit strange but I guess she feels fine and also I guess Iíll get your attention here. Good luck girls! P.S. perhaps it was better to use the quotes in previous comment cause it looks like dialogue by one insane person hah!:-) 3 toytoo

oh, a few minutes ago I have registered on this forum and found this thread. we also have opted for a treatment there.. it's weird, I thought I wouldn't meet people from that country. may I ask a question? how was your first visit there? did you like everything, I remember wen we came to biotex( ooops, my clinic) we were surprised with the med stuuf there, all were so friendly, they helped us a lot. frankly it wa our first time being in ukraine but I liked the country. how are you now? what stage are you at? 3 Grace

Hello! Ahah! It was funny! was it copied from mail? but I think we may ask you the same things hah. How was your IC and how much did it cost? The questions about your previous experience seem too personal and a bit useless. Because answer is that youíre still trying now. We donít notice a high activity here as well as I donít recall Sallyís stories here. But she was really right in that a lot of people are satisfied with Ukrainian medicine. 4 Gallas

I even didnít expect for such instant responses! Thank you very much! Youíve made my day. And Iím happy to know you were there too. How was your treatment? What the stage do we have? Two weeks passed after my first visit to Ukraine. Weíre synchronizing our periods with help of pills. How are you? 5 toytoo

My treatment is left in past, fortunately. Itís a war that I won. Now I have two babies from my two different journeys. The first one was my de ivf experience in Spain. I could tell a lot about difficulties we faced during that time. but I have another mood. In Ukraine we passed through surrogacy program. It was not also easy for us. because it was a time of big decisions and too long expectation. However, Ukrainian year gave us a big confidence, knowledge and certainly a long-awaited baby. 6 Gallas

gallass Itís unbelievable. Fantastic! Such people as you give me an occasion to hold on. I just can imagine how long your way was. How many troubles you coped with. You have rights to give advices. And Iím grateful. I guess in the nearest future Iíll be able to be so useful. 7 toytoo

Great news toytoo! It's so nice to see more and more people going to Ukraine. However, I heard that Spanish and Czech clinic are very popular among infertile couples. Anyway, I know why you chose Ukraine. Even in comparison to those countries, fertility services are good and cheaper. I was with biotexcom clinic and I'm pregnant now. I believe it may give you more hope. Keep believing in yourself and in the positive outcome. Sending you lots of luck 7 pin

Congratulations! If you've chosen a place for a new round, it's half the battle. I know this clinic you've mentioned though, it's a nice one. been for 6 months with them and I don't want to have treatment elsewhere. Although my first attempt of egg donation failed, I don't blame them because it was my first bfp ever and they couldn't know I would miscarry a baby. I wish you luck in the whole process. Don't be afraid, relax and have fun 8 Pat

pin Actually some people prefer to consider Spanish options. Perhaps it works in their cases. But maybe as I had written above we had a hope for only using fresh oocytes. Because you have to know the oocytes have a worsened quality after defrosting. Also Spain didnít offer to choose a possible donor although it was important for us. We have all these advantages in our Ukrainian clinic. Maybe someone has bad impressions after visit to Ukraine. But we even canít confirm this point of view. We liked Ukraine itís good country for journeys in any cases. 9 toytoo

Pat I donít think itís possible to relax having such a long expectation. This path is full of wasted nerves you must know. actually Iím seriously afraid to have a miscarriage and not to achieve a positive test result. Perhaps Iím too weak and vulnerable. Thank you for sharing. you give a confidence to my heart. Iím not the first one who pass this way so letís see what it will be. 10 toytoo

Hi again! We were talking about fertility treatment abroad and I was waiting for results of my last IVF attempt then..I failed to get pregnant again. I can't try again...now I'm moving to a surrogacy. I'm trying to be positive and looking forward to new steps. But I'm also disappinted by these numerous failed cycles. I didn't expect to become pregnant at once but 5 cycles and one mc..Wish you all the best in my turn. 11 Pat

dear, reading your post, i love the spirit and the courage you have. many women would break down at the first instance. also congratulate your husband for me. I still think there is as much hope for you to have your own baby. though in my assessment, you seem to have given up. i recommend you try another clinic maybe in another locality. I can easily fit in your shoes because we had the same problem sometime back. I was broke and depressed added to the fact that my wife could not conceive. IVF at times seems problematic for those who lack the financial means. I can see you have a husband who is willing to take the journey with you. continue encouraging him. Give it your own and convince your husband to go to another clinic in another locality. you may find a compatible donor. maybe this is your chance. I can be sure on this. 12 chris77

toytoo, I'm sorry that this road is so long for you. anyway, I'm happy to hear that you are moving on and seems like you are positive about your future treatment. When do you need to come to Ukraine, as far as I understand you are undergoing treatment there? I want to wish you nothing but lots of luck. Don't stop thinking positive it is very important despite everything. chriss77 such lovely supporting words! It's great that you support your wife that much and you are not afraid of everything we, women, need to do to become pregnant. Good luck to you both 13 yamamma

It's good to know that you chose to travel Ukraine for egg donation IVF process. It is indeed a great place and I wish you all the happiness and good health. During your time in Ukraine, have you been to Kiev? There is this Biotexcom center which offers egg donation and surrogacy programs. These programs not only have high professional level, but are ideal for someone travelling to Kiev from other countries. I would like to know your experience in your chosen Ukranian clinic, so as to make a well informed decision for myself. 14 reena232

IVF is really a long journey, but as a mother, I can say, there is no stress that I can't beat to become a mother. IVF can be stressful, but the picture of me holding my baby in my mind kept pushing me through the journey. Support from my partner played an important role along with the doctors at the center. Just like many other couples, we too had our reservations about going abroad for IVF. And travelling to Ukraine, was never on my list. But after being there, meeting the team of doctors at this center, changed my perception. Their managers speak good english and my fear of language barrier disappeared at once. There are many things and factors that need to be in place for a successful IVF journey. And the center that reena you talked about, Biotexcom, was the place that I needed to be at. 15 junep

It's good to know that you've planned your IVF at the BioTexCom, Sarah. How has it been so far? Egg donation program at this place is highly professional. They also have highly skilled staff. The accommodation, and food was really good and made us feel at home. The experience was a stress-free one when we went there for our first child and now are planning for our second. 21 lea43
