Im so mad - why do people have such a problem, with teen mums - i know we may be young and naive but at least we didnt abort our babies we took the consequence (which isnt easy and is very hard) Does anyone agree thought i would see what people say to my personal oppinion - anyone please comment and say what you want it would be nice to see everyone elses views x - Charleyy && Brooklyn x 1 MummyToBrooklyn

I don't know if it's fair to say that everyone is saying that teen moms suck as a general statement because I certainly don't think it's appropriate to say that teen moms are no better either. I think it comes from people thinking that lots of teenagers are getting pregnant by accident and they marvel and question about the homelife of the teen, and things like that. I think it's just curiosity. 2 lululemon

And it must be a difficult decision to be a teen parent. But it goes for ANYONE-whether you're 14 or 40-who has to make the decision. And no one is or should be judging you based on your parenting skills because anyone of any age can parent but adults probably have a stronger knowledge and sense of maturity in some cases. 3 lululemon

I completely agree. I am 26 years old, with a supportive family and awesome husband. I can't imagine being a teenager and having to go through this. I give teen moms alot of credit. Good luck to all of you teen moms out there. 8 countrymama

Agreed. I am fourteen, and my daughter is coming in two months. I was pregnant at thirteen. I have a supportive family, two friends who are pregnant at fourteen aswell, and a great boyfriend. I'm glad my parents will be able to look after my daughter sometimes so i can still go out and have fun. Why are teen mum's so looked down on? I would rather have a mum who had me at fourteen then a mum who was a drug addict and an alcoholic. Olivia&& Ruby-Grace xx 10 Livi

I understand your anger. Pregnancy comes with a lot of responsibility. Teen moms are often looked down upon because many people think they aren't ready for that responsibility. In my opinion, age has nothing to do with it. All that matters is your level of maturity. Some adult parents aren't cut out for the job.Meanwhile, some teen moms might do a marvelous job. Stereotypes are no good. 13 Zion

Hello, Mommy to Brooklyn. Just relax, honey. Don’t be mad. It is just a myth that teen mothers cannot be responsible. I agree they are too young for this responsibility. However, it is not necessary that all teen mothers will be irresponsible. I really respect your opinion. 14 Matilda
