"The problem with the name Emily is that it was intended for beautiful creative girls but for some reason alot of uptight boring girls get the name and so when people hear it they think of common plain Jane as opposed to a beautiful classic timeless woman with flowing hair and striking beauty" - I cant agree more, Emily is a beautiful name that is too overplayed. Its too bad I'm one of those mass of people who are named Emily, so I perfer to go by my Chinese name :)

My best friend at school is called Emily. And she is such a sweetheart, like actually I cant think of anybody who doesn't love her :) she is also an amazing leader and gets all the roles in class. urgh.. I see all these comments saying "I LOVE this name" and "I wish the name Emily was never created!". My name is Emily, and I'm not a fan of it. it's one of those names that gets worn out. I have 4 ppl in my class also named emily, and it gets annoying when teachers just call out "Emily!" cuz WHO THE HELL are you tlking to??! we dont know!! anyway, I also think it's beautiful, but I could never, even if it wasn't my name, name my daughter it.
