My name is Olivia and I absolutely love this name. It carries power and peace. Wherever there is misunderstanding or confusion between or among any group of people when I get step in I am able to resolve the issue peacefully. The Lord has anointed me and I carry peace with me by virtue of my name. I am grateful that my mum gave me the name OLIVIA. I am popularly known as Olii and my big brother calls me Olive. I have an Olivia Marie, she is unique and is as beautiful as her name. I always call by her proper name and insisted that everyone else did too. I always hoped that no one would address her by a shortened version of her name ...now at 21 and we all still call her OLIVIA........but I must admit that I have a pet name for her it's bunny!

HOOOOOOOOOOOW ironic! Peace - of the olive tree...my Olivia's favorite food...OLIVES!!!! God works in mysterious ways, as I have just looked into the meaning of her name. Olives are one of the first foods she ever ate and she will eat an entire jar if you allow her! WOW! That's all I can say.

To the person who suggests that an insecure twit take the name "Stephanie'...you are nothing like an "Olivia". My name is Stephanie and I am everything you are not. Your confidence is actually ignorance and your words make you ugly and I am probably certain your inner thoughts speaks volumes on your outter looks. I named my daughter "Olivia" and she is a beautiful, intelligent, caring individual who would never stoop so low as to down someone else's name. YOU should consider changing your name to something more fitting for your personality, like Ignorant....we can call you "Iggy" for short. Has a nice ring to it - don't you think?

I named my daughter "Olivia Claire Ellen" I think it a gorgeous name. My son couldn't say her name when he was little so he called her "Bibia" and it has stuck to this day. How's that for a different nick name?

I was blessed to be an Olivia! My name fits me well and I think I share a bond with other stunning Olivias around the world. I think being an Olivia means being brilliant in every way possible for our name is most commonly referred to in moments of brillance; entertainment, politics, etc. I can hardly think of a time where there was a big scandal involving someone with the name Olivia! My names Olivia but I much prefer Livvy. it's more casual, but I love the alternative meaning of Olivia which is "Elf Army" I'm very elven so it fits me perfectly :) when I was younger I never knew anyone with my name and now all of a sudden it's ridiculously popular!
